#fanfics is a chat room that has been around for many years. Originally created for fans of anime to gather and chit chat about the hells of writing and talking about a majority of other things.
From Sailor Moon, to Beyblade, and video games, #fanfics has changed with the times. It has grown, and fallen through the cracks of time, yet still an ever present chat room in a few lives.
Now under the watchful gaze of the few long standing members, some returning, and some taking up the mantel of leader the people of this writing community on IRC are branching out to encourage writing of all mediums. Be it journalism, original fiction, or fan fiction. We welcome it all.
